SoundBrite In Action

Quick Introduction

SoundBrite was an idea inspired by the theme of the 2023-24 FLL season: Masterpiece. It listens to its surroundings and lights up when a sound exceeds a certain volume. The lights 'reacts' to an instrument's sound, so SoundBrite can visualize the rhythyms an instrument makes.

About

Originally designed for an alto saxophone, SoundBrite is completely built on an Adafruit Circuit Playground Express. Therefore, its case can be modified to any size and fit nearly any instrument. Below are the mounts for the tenor saxophone, trumpet, and almost any percussion instrument.

SoundBrite can become even more brighter when RGB LED light strips are added to it. Since an Adafruit CPX has easy-to-mount screw holes for wires, a light strip can be added to SoundBrite with ease.
